Old Man

Well, we had a way too much snow on the ground this morning> and we had our first drive to work with snow covered roads. Fun Fun!! Keep trying to leave the house earlier in the mornings but it never works as I am obsessive compulsive> checking and rechecking everything> is the coffee maker unplugged? is the toaster unplugged? are the gates closed? is the electric fence on? worry worry worry> loser loser loser.

Anyway, to get to the topic > one of my dogs is 14. He is a big yellow lab that I have had since 1995 (Charlie or Charles or Biscuit as he is affectionately known to Scott C.). He is of course getting old> and it is hard to watch> but today he was like a puppy in the snow. He usually comes to the barn in the mornings to hang out and sniff> but today he just sat in the snow> loving it. It is good to see that he is still enjoying life!!!!! Not such an old man after all.

I have been trying to download Hello at work > to upload pics of my animals> no such luck> must be our firewall. I guess I will have to try at home with dial up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Darkness

As we plunge into darkness once again by daylight savings> I try to think of creative things to do> as we go to work in the dark and arrive home in the dark> how is one to stay happy?

Ahhhhhhh yes, start some of my many pathetic craft projects, of which 1 might actually come to fruition> ohhhhh the long days of winter.

I have started running again> 3-4 km is my max, although Abe (one of the pooches) is a great running partner. > just have to get past the once a week thing :}:}:}
